Double chocolate cookies

I simply doubled the amount of milk added and added 1/2 cup of cocco powder at the creaming method stage of the cookie making. I think they turned out very well for my first attempt at chocolate […]

Explosion of Christmas…

Every year my house explodes with life and new found stuff as the Christmas season approaches. My father’s family was never really into the Christmas spirit when he was younger. I believe this is why he takes such joy in decorating the house now. It seems as though every year we buy more Christmas decorations […]

Pasta w/ bolognese sauce

I found this recipe in my “Everyday Food” magazine. Most of the recipes in this magazine aren’t fussy, but this one was very time consuming. I’m still not sure if the result was worth the 2.5 hrs it took me to make, but it was very tasty. I even just ate some of the sauce […]

Cooking frustration

1 Nov

After reading a resent post on chaotic.nexusvector.net about how its much different cooking for yourself alone when you’re used to cooking as part of a group in an apartment situation, I felt this might be a good time to talk about my own cooking frustrations. I’ve always enjoyed cooking to a certain degree. My Dad […]

Review: Serenity

I was first introduced to the fantastic sci-fi show with a cult following called Firefly after it had already come to DVD during the summer of 2003. Not suprisingly, I was completely unaware the show existed while on TV. Fox aired it out of order and always preceeded by some kind of sports on Friday […]
