Calphalon Hard-Anodized Cookware

I found this cookware on earlier this week and couldn’t pass up the deal. Its all made from hard-anodized aluminum… and its all safe to use in the oven/broiler 🙂 I’ve been dying to be able to finish a fritatta under the broiler so it gets nice and brown on top without me having to try and flip the whole thing over in the pan without disturbing the nice browned layer on already formed on the bottom.

I got this 9 piece set for $125 with free shipping. I’ll probably be here with my parents for a year or so, during which time I hope to accumulate a nice nest egg in the bank as well as some cheaply acquired (but decent) household items such as this cookware, plates, cups, coffee makers, and the like…

I’m not sure where I’ll end up when I move out, but I wouldn’t mind staying in the Buffalo area as long as I had a decent, stable job. Even if I don’t stay in the immediate area, I don’t see myself ever really leaving the northeast. I would miss the change of season too much to move somewhere like Nevada, Florida, or Texas.
